About Our Guides

Our guides avoid honest labor by being stay at home dads and local DC tour guides.
Tim Krepp first came to DC in the early nineties to study history at George Washington University. After an extensive round the world drinking tour courtesy of the US Navy, Tim came back to DC in 2001 and took up guiding professionally in 2006. He runs DC Like a Local, a travel and tourism blog for DC, and contributes to The Hill is Home and Greater Greater Washington.
Robert Pohl has been accused of talking too much for most of his life. After his career as a stay-at-home dad began to wane with his son’s entry into school, he decided to turn this liability into an asset, and has been a professional tour guide since 2009. Robert writes about local history for the Hill Rag as well as The Hill is Home, and runs the publishing house Eastern Branch Press on the side.
Your contribution to Walking Shtick Tours furthers their goals of never having a real job again.
