The Haunted Hill:While the “other” Capitol Hill (you know the one with all those Congressmen and all?) is thoroughly haunted, we’ll explore the neighborhood of the same name. Restless military leaders, band leaders, and common folks will look down from another plane as we take up their stories. Kicking off at the Eastern Market Metro stop, we’ll explore the heart of the two hundred year old neighborhood, where we’ll learn the ghostly stories of Hill residents who never leave.
Devilish Dupont:
It’s not all coffee shops and hipsters! The Dupont Circle neighborhood has been a home to angst and loss since well before the creation of emo poetry. Ghostly apparitions searching for their lost home, cursed diamonds, and plaintive crying in the night are but some of the scenes we come upon as we walk the streets of Gilded Age glory. Tour starts at the Dupont Circle fountain, just steps away from the Dupont Circle Metro Stop.
Scandal Tour:
Not all of our neighbors have behaved themselves. While our close proximity to Congress gives us an inside look into the sausage factory, we have some hometown heroes to share with you as well. From juicy sex stories to boring old financial missteps, the Hill is chock full of problem children. Honestly, the big challenge is finding places untouched by scandal. This tour is totally uncool for kids. Tour starts at Eastern Market Metro and meanders its way over to the Capitol South Metro stop.
